The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Knut Grevad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Scot Lincoln in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Knut Grevad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Warren Childers hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes Hoberg United got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Lagrolet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Lagrolet in the 27th minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Cadena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes, Warren Childers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brooklyn SC and the Hoberg United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 30 played minutes Brooklyn SC got a freekick which was hit by Warren Childers. Osvaldo Cadena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfred Kellebjerg in the 31st minute of play. Osvaldo Cadena made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Jonatan Lagrolet sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, Randall Haynes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Knut Grevad. Hoberg United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Randall Haynes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 47 minutes into the match, Hoberg United's goal looked a bit too open when Randall Haynes came free, but Knut Grevad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Hoberg United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Brooklyn SC were winning 0-1.

In the 58th minute Jonatan Lagrolet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Cadena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Cadena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Lagrolet in the 60th minute of play. Hoberg United's Knut Grevad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scot Lincoln in the 64th minute of play. Calle Vidø kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Pascal Dailey might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Knut Grevad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pascal Dailey ran back to his position shaking his head. Scot Lincoln recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Hoberg United's Knut Grevad got control of the ball when Randall Haynes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Andrade during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute, Martin Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Peter Smedorf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 93 minutes, Teddi Engbøl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hoberg United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teddi Engbøl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brooklyn SC's Osvaldo Cadena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Lagrolet in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Brooklyn SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
