The referee ignored Brooklyn SC's protests and gave Raleigh St Clair a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 minutes, Arnulfo Aztore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Sky FC and the Brooklyn SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Arnulfo Aztore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aaron Gunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eli Cash kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Osvaldo Cadena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Rufo in the 14th minute of play. Osvaldo Cadena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Rios in the 16th minute of the match. When Alberto Bilintx came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Black Sky FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Bilintx couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Rufo came free, but Osvaldo Cadena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernan Rios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Osvaldo Cadena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Nereo Rufo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Cadena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dudley Heinberg during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Dudley Heinberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldo Cadena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Rios in the 46th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nereo Rufo to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Black Sky FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Hernan Rios hit a great ball. Melquiades Sergi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Gunn in the 60th minute of play. A.J. Spangler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Sergi having to interfere. Brooklyn SC's Osvaldo Cadena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Brooklyn SC from getting a goal against them. A throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game was made by Arnulfo Aztore with Nereo Rufo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Junior Khan was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Brooklyn SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Black Sky FC:s goal. In the 78th minute of the match Black Sky FC got a corner. Brooklyn SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serafin Mateo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Serafin Mateo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Osvaldo Cadena quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Brooklyn SC's Eli Cash got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Black Sky FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pascal Dailey came free, but Melquiades Sergi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 played minutes Hernan Rios rounded Brooklyn SC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Serafin Stephen kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 98th match minute, Black Sky FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Weather to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Black Sky FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
