Dawid Beckham ran back to his position shaking his head. 7 minutes into the game, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Errapel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rodolfo Cordeiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Roberto Eztebe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Lino Rios made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Errapel. Santa Maradona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Rios in the 14th minute of play forced Santa Maradona's goalkeeper Jonathan Errapel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa Maradona's goalkeeper Jonathan Errapel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute of the match AFC FUSION got a corner. Santa Maradona's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dawid Beckham ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mario Sesuldo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel did a great save. After some careless play in the Santa Maradona defense, Lino Rios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Errapel. The Santa Maradona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Errapel should have stopped the shot. After 27 minutes of play, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Errapel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lino Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 30 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Jonathan Errapel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Lino Rios's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Errapel was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Jonathan Errapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute AFC FUSION were awarded a corner. Dawid Beckham went to the cornerflag to take it. Dawid Beckham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Errapel having to interfere. After some careless play in the Santa Maradona defense, Lino Rios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Errapel. The Santa Maradona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Errapel should have stopped the shot. After 46 played minutes Santa Maradona got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Garcia. 47 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Jonathan Errapel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half AFC FUSION were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodolfo Cordeiro was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Lino Rios recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Errapel. Lino Rios showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Jan Hop kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Cordeiro in the 58th minute of play. Rigoberto Thomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Mario Sesuldo. 66 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's goalkeeper Jonathan Errapel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Rios. AFC FUSION were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Santa Maradona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dawid Beckham took the corner. In the 69th minute, Gervasio Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lino Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Jonathan Errapel made a huge save. Jonathan Errapel was a little too slow when Lino Rios got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-8. AFC FUSION made a substitution. Aureliano Arnau replaced Jan Hop. Lino Rios blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Errapel having to make a save. With a little luck, Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel got control of the ball when Lino Rios tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as AFC FUSION's Lino Rios slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Errapel. That made the score 0-9 after 80 minutes of play. When Lino Rios came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the AFC FUSION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Rios couldn't finish the play. AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks was substituted for Dawid Beckham. In the 94th minute, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Errapel. Jonathan Errapel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. The Santa Maradona fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AFC FUSION were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
