In the 42nd minute, Gerardo Berto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomiro Txindoki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delmiro Mel to strike the kick off in the second half. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
