Kuno Lüdimõis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres Pitin in the 13th minute. Fernando Marinho took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eloy Mazuste. Eloy Mazuste dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, FC ICEWIND DALE's Fernando Marinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eloy Mazuste narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Fernando Marinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eloy Mazuste. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Marinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Marinho in the 27th minute of play forced Tigres Ñacuñán FC's goalkeeper Eloy Mazuste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fernando Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the FC ICEWIND DALE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Marinho couldn't finish the play. Eloy Mazuste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Marinho in the 34th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tigres Ñacuñán FC's zone, Fernando Marinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Mazuste came out of the goal and Fernando Marinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, FC ICEWIND DALE's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Bergqvist came free, but Kuno Lüdimõis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Bergqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Bergqvist in the 51st minute of play forced FC ICEWIND DALE's goalkeeper Kuno Lüdimõis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eloy Mazuste was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fernando Marinho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 52 minute of play. In the 56th minute Christian Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuno Lüdimõis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Marinho got free with Eloy Mazuste in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC ICEWIND DALE's Kuno Lüdimõis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Bergqvist in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute Christian Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuno Lüdimõis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Marinho came free, but Eloy Mazuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Fernando Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eloy Mazuste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eloy Mazuste was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of FC ICEWIND DALE booed when Tigres Ñacuñán FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Ireno didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Erik Stor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eloy Mazuste quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The FC ICEWIND DALE supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC ICEWIND DALE would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
