In the 4th minute, Santo Hurko made a precise shot to the right of Baldomiro Txindoki. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Teodosio Vedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orçun Yalınalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santo Hurko in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomiro Txindoki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Urko FC's Teodosio Vedillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orçun Yalınalp in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Orçun Yalınalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urko FC's Teodosio Vedillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Urko FC from getting a goal against them. Teodosio Vedillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilson Arósio went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Eric Luican fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Vedillo having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Urko FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia:s goal. The goalkeeper, Teodosio Vedillo, was totally fooled by FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Wilson Arósio, who 29 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 32 minutes into the match, Orçun Yalınalp dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teodosio Vedillo, 3-1. Petrică Cândreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Teodosio Vedillo made a huge save. Orçun Yalınalp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teodosio Vedillo came out and tried to block the shot, but Orçun Yalınalp slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 38th minute. Orçun Yalınalp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orçun Yalınalp made a kick off. In the 55th minute FC UNIREA Alba Iulia were awarded a corner. Petrică Cândreanu went to the cornerflag to take it. Teodosio Vedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Emil Hansson in the 58th minute of play. Uriel Guillelme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Baldomiro Txindoki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodosio Vedillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orçun Yalınalp went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute, Gigel Horhoianu made a precise shot to the right of Teodosio Vedillo. Urko FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gigel Horhoianu in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodosio Vedillo saved Urko FC from getting behind. Urko FC's Uriel Guillelme got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodosio Vedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orçun Yalınalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Teodosio Vedillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Horhoianu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Matia charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Matia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute, Valentin Matia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Wilson Arósio notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Urko FC's Teodosio Vedillo. Teodosio Vedillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Urko FC's Valentin Matia got a free kick in the 81st minute. Teodosio Vedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orçun Yalınalp in the 84th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Eric Luican managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Luican was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodosio Vedillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orçun Yalınalp's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. In the 98th minute FC UNIREA Alba Iulia were awarded a corner. Petrică Cândreanu went to the cornerflag to take it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia had played much better football throughout.
