Bahía é Carnaval's Mickael Wuyts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Usain Bolt in the 15th minute of play. Mapovihesa FC's attentive Rafael Figueroa managed to snatch the ball when Prospero Jakes made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. Bahía é Carnaval's Mickael Wuyts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Bahía é Carnaval from getting a goal against them. Jacinto Rosio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacinto Rosio to make the kick off.
