David de Alcântara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but François-Xavier Dionnet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute of the match 26 de junio got a corner. Ruquense FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gavino Lobo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Gavino Lobo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by David de Alcântara in the 7th minute of play forced Ruquense FC's goalkeeper François-Xavier Dionnet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Fernandez in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Ruquense FC were awarded a corner. Maciej Ciemiega went to the cornerflag to take it. François-Xavier Dionnet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David de Alcântara in the 14th minute of the match. When Ruquense FC's Remigio Quirze in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 26 de junio's goalie prevented a goal. 20 minutes into the match, 26 de junio's goal looked a bit too open when Maciej Ciemiega came free, but Donato Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basilio Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. A collision led to 26 de junio getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Teodoro Paul hit a great ball. Donato Cutberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. François-Xavier Dionnet came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by 26 de junio's David de Alcântara. But to his dismay, David de Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Basilio Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruquense FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Cutberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

51 minutes into the game, Aadolf Virolainen threw the ball into play from the sideline. 26 de junio's Gavino Lobo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Ciemiega in the 53rd minute of play forced 26 de junio's goalkeeper Donato Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in 26 de junio's zone, Maciej Ciemiega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Cutberto came out of the goal and Maciej Ciemiega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, Remigio Quirze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donato Cutberto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. François-Xavier Dionnet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game was made by Aadolf Virolainen with Basilio Fernandez as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Donato Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maciej Ciemiega in the 74th minute of play. Basilio Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Cutberto having to interfere. Aquilino Odilon kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When Ruquense FC's Basilio Fernandez in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 26 de junio's goalie prevented a goal. Donato Cutberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maciej Ciemiega, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when David de Alcântara got free with François-Xavier Dionnet in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ruquense FC fully deserved thier win.
