The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Raymundo in the 4th minute of play forced Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Atahan Balon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alirio Ducoing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Bencivenni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Anibal Lluques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Q. T. I.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Lluques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atahan Balon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Anibal Lluques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Q. T. I. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 19th minute of the game Babbis Boukouvalas made a throw-in which Damian Honesto played forward. In the 24th match minute, Q. T. I. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Uxio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Honesto in the 25th minute of play forced Q. T. I.'s goalkeeper Alirio Ducoing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Lluques in the 26th minute of play forced Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Atahan Balon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Henrico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atahan Balon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Anibal Lluques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atahan Balon was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Anibal Lluques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anibal Lluques might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atahan Balon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 35th minute Anibal Lluques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atahan Balon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anibal Lluques might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atahan Balon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anibal Lluques ran back to his position shaking his head. Anibal Lluques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atahan Balon having to make a save. 39 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Lluques came free, but Atahan Balon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atahan Balon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anibal Lluques's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The Los Muchachos del 86 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Q. T. I. were winning 0-1.

Q. T. I.'s Horacio Dolfo was substituted for Leopoldo Vermudo. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damian Honesto to make the kick off. Eleuterio Nuno's late challenge caught a Los Muchachos del 86's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eleuterio Nuno helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Q. T. I.'s Eleuterio Nuno got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Albino Peruanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 56 minutes, Haroldo Montrel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Q. T. I. and the Los Muchachos del 86 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Q. T. I. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Haroldo Montrel hit a great ball. Atahan Balon stood somewhat misplaced when Julian Raymundo came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 58 minute. Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Lluques in the 64th minute of play. Atahan Balon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anibal Lluques's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After a rather tough play, Q. T. I.'s Lisandro Abeita got a free kick in the 71st minute. Los Muchachos del 86 made a substitution. Asiz Soon replaced Fabio Bencivenni. Los Muchachos del 86 made a substitution. Lisandro Abeita was slow to take the kick. During this time Q. T. I.'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Lisandro Abeita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Atahan Balon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 88th minute of the match, Jonas Henrico tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Atahan Balon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ladislao Constancio hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute Luka Ljubenković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alirio Ducoing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Q. T. I. defense, Luka Ljubenković kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alirio Ducoing. The Q. T. I. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alirio Ducoing should have stopped the shot. The Q. T. I. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
