The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Los Muchachos del 86's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Maciej Ciemiega scored to the left of an out of position Atahan Balon, making the score, 1-0. François-Xavier Dionnet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Honesto in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute of the match Los Muchachos del 86 got a corner. Ruquense FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Albino Peruanton ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Los Muchachos del 86's Albino Peruanton to fire away a dangerous shot which François-Xavier Dionnet despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Quirze came free, but Atahan Balon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 14 minutes, Remigio Quirze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruquense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remigio Quirze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Basilio Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atahan Balon made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Maciej Ciemiega sent off a good shot on target. After 23 played minutes Ruquense FC got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Fernandez. Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Los Muchachos del 86 from getting a goal against them. François-Xavier Dionnet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Jacob in the 29th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Damian Honesto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but François-Xavier Dionnet was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After 37 minutes of play, Los Muchachos del 86's Fabio Bencivenni made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Basilio Fernandez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Efrain Jacob sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Basilio Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the last second François-Xavier Dionnet throw himself and got hold of the ball when Damian Honesto in the 56thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The Los Muchachos del 86 fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Los Muchachos del 86's Damian Honesto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Ruquense FC's Remigio Quirze in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jérémie Boix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but François-Xavier Dionnet made a huge save. 88 minutes into the match, Ruquense FC's goalkeeper François-Xavier Dionnet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jérémie Boix. A collision led to Ruquense FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Adolfo Joseph hit a great ball.
