Jabones Tocadores's Orlando Mena got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orlando Mena was slow to take the kick. During this time Jabones Tocadores's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Jabones Tocadores's Ladislao Bartoleme to fire away a dangerous shot which Fernando Selatse despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jabones Tocadores's Orlando Mena was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fernando Selatse in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 87th minute Fernando Maule shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Despidida AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jabones Tocadores throughout the match.
