After 4 minutes of play, Lobos de Carelia's Pavao Zadro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Urbasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Blas Beila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Nestor Cortez made a huge save. In the 9th minute Saul Montrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Urbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Urbasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Perico in the 10th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prospero Perico in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Urbasa saved Gladiadores from getting behind. In the 12th minute of the match Lobos de Carelia got a corner. Gladiadores's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Horacio Oliverios ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lobos de Carelia's Horacio Oliverios was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Daniel Urbasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Daniel Urbasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Montrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gladiadores's attack was well implemented in the 19th minute, but when Blas Beila was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After 20 played minutes Lobos de Carelia got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Perico. Daniel Urbasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Perico in the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Gladiadores's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Montrel came free, but Daniel Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Urbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavao Zadro in the 25th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Pavao Zadro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Urbasa was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Daniel Urbasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pavao Zadro's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Daniel Urbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Bikendi in the 27th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blas Beila got free with Nestor Cortez in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lobos de Carelia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marciano Pettinelli was slow to take the kick. During this time Gladiadores's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Gladiadores's Marciano Pettinelli to fire away a dangerous shot which Nestor Cortez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Urbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Rios in the 39th minute of play. Daniel Urbasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Montrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marciano Pettinelli got free with Nestor Cortez in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44thth minute of the game Pavao Zadro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gladiadores's Daniel Urbasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 45 minutes Gladiadores's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Horacio Oliverios who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Horacio Oliverios almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gladiadores's Daniel Urbasa did a great save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Prospero Perico made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Urbasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prospero Perico in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute, Jacinto Playo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Gladiadores's zone, Horacio Oliverios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Urbasa came out of the goal and Horacio Oliverios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prospero Perico made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gladiadores's Gabrie-Alejandro Maldini. Nestor Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Pettinelli in the 61st minute of play. Lobos de Carelia's Vladimiro Millano was substituted for Cosme Bikendi. With his leg Daniel Urbasa managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Lobos de Carelia's Prospero Perico fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nestor Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Innocenzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Gladiadores's Albino Belo was substituted for Blas Beila. In the 81st minute of the match Gladiadores got a corner. Lobos de Carelia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marciano Pettinelli ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Marciano Pettinelli almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez did a great save. If Saul Montrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lobos de Carelia's Eusebio Rios in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gladiadores's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Saul Montrel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobos de Carelia's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Montrel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Urbasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Gladiadores's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Montrel came free, but Daniel Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lobos de Carelia booed when Gladiadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Pereyra didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Horacio Oliverios came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Lobos de Carelia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Oliverios couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Lobos de Carelia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gladiadores throughout the match.
