Octavio Beat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Errapel having to make a save. Jonathan Errapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Skytt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Skytt in the 10th minute of play. Joel Cristofor came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Maradona's Miguel Transito. But to his dismay, Miguel Transito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 26th minute Octavio Beat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Errapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Beat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jonathan Errapel made a huge save. Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Larra in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, NECKER49 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Hegoi to maneuver through the defense. John Skytt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Errapel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Gonzáles in the 35th minute of the match. Jonathan Errapel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Skytt, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. NECKER49 were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Santa Maradona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Basilio Hegoi took the corner. The corner led NECKER49's Basilio Hegoi to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Errapel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Beat came free, but Jonathan Errapel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Cristofor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Thomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute of the match Santa Maradona got a corner. NECKER49's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodolfo Cordeiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. After the first half Santa Maradona were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Santa Maradona's Herminio Birila was substituted for Samuel Refugio. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Cordeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Errapel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Skytt in the 52nd minute of play. Joel Cristofor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Thomas in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Carlos Larra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Errapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. NECKER49's Blaise Dahmani was substituted for John Skytt. Jonathan Errapel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blaise Dahmani, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvano Casanova in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Errapel saved Santa Maradona from getting behind. After a rather tough play, NECKER49's Jeronimo Elizardo got a free kick in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Maradona's zone, Blaise Dahmani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Errapel came out of the goal and Blaise Dahmani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gervasio Garcia during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gervasio Garcia hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goalkeeper Joel Cristofor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Cordeiro. The audience was convinced that Blaise Dahmani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Errapel was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santa Maradona's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Basilio Hegoi was slow to take the kick. During this time NECKER49's players had a chance to rest. In the 94th minute, one of Santa Maradona:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Santa Maradona. The referee gave NECKER49 a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Basilio Hegoi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel. 3-2. NECKER49's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
