Christian Bergqvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Jacinto Cuadrado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 29th minute, Andres Pitin fired a really elegant long shot, but Jacinto Cuadrado threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After 30 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Rainerio Obis. When Christian Bergqvist came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Tigres Ñacuñán FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Bergqvist couldn't finish the play. Eloy Mazuste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Napier in the 39th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Amorebieta in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eloy Mazuste saved Tigres Ñacuñán FC from getting behind. Eloy Mazuste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Paes in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Boca Juniors were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Bergqvist made a kick off. Eloy Mazuste made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Diego Napier sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson Paes in the 74th minute of play forced Tigres Ñacuñán FC's goalkeeper Eloy Mazuste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres Pitin took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Cuadrado. Jacinto Cuadrado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. 83 minutes into the match, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Paes came free, but Eloy Mazuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Eloy Mazuste successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tigres Ñacuñán FC were furious when Frans Pedolles was red carded, 89 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Tigres Ñacuñán FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Boca Juniors:s goal. Diego Napier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Eloy Mazuste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eloy Mazuste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Amorebieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Boca Juniors's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
