With a left leg Jacinto Cuadrado saved Boca Juniors from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Felipe Dimas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Amorebieta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aristides Iztal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Jacinto Cuadrado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lajos Tímár, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Paes came free, but Aristides Iztal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lajos Tímár scored 2-4 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Cuadrado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Piarres Cuadra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piarres Cuadra to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute of the match Germán Pezzella sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacinto Cuadrado skillfully saved the ball.
