Yu Jian Tian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Arcadio Buendia made a huge save. Yu Jian Tian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 28th minute of the match, Yu Jian Tian tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arcadio Buendia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Arcadio Buendia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Jian Tian, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Yu Jian Tian made the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yu Jian Tian couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the match, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's goalkeeper Marcelino Flor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulises Gartzen. In the 70thth minute of the game José Sand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grosso United's Arcadio Buendia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute of the match ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ got a corner. Grosso United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ovidio Marin ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 74th minute of the game Cayetano Xacintu made a throw-in which Gustavo da Costa played forward. If Ovidio Marin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliks Mnich to maneuver through the defense. After 94 played minutes ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ got a freekick which was hit by Feliks Mnich. 96 minutes into the match, Grosso United's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Marin came free, but Arcadio Buendia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ were victorious despite being under pressure from Grosso United for much of the match.
