With a left leg Joel Cristofor saved NECKER49 from getting behind. Boca Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rolando Amorebieta in the 12th minute. After taking down the ball on Boca Juniors's corner Rainerio Obis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joel Cristofor quite easily take care of the ball. Carlos Larra struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Jacinto Cuadrado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NECKER49. Rainerio Obis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Rainerio Obis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Cristofor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Joel Cristofor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rainerio Obis in the 39th minute. Rainerio Obis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Joel Cristofor made a huge save. In the 42nd minute of the match Boca Juniors got a corner. NECKER49's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rolando Amorebieta ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Ufuk Ökten heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Rainerio Obis got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Boca Juniors's Jacinto Cuadrado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blaise Dahmani in the 51st minute of play. Jacinto Cuadrado made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Octavio Beat sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blaise Dahmani got free with Jacinto Cuadrado in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Alexis McAllister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis McAllister came free, but Joel Cristofor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Cristofor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Amorebieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute Rolando Amorebieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Cristofor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Cristofor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xano De Paula, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute.
