Brandon Bayart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Marcelino Flor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Grosso United's goal looked a bit too open when José Sand came free, but Arcadio Buendia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's José Sand sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arcadio Buendia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ booed when Grosso United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonín Orlík didn't get a good kick on the ball. A throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game was made by Anastasio Caton with Cayetano Xacintu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Everardo Hartz fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's protests and gave Everardo Hartz a yellow card for diving instead. Arcadio Buendia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Jian Tian, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Alejo Bastiaro hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Grosso United's Reynaldo Pietro was substituted for Ulises Gartzen. After a defensive mix-up in Grosso United's zone, Ovidio Marin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arcadio Buendia came out of the goal and Ovidio Marin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Grosso United's goalkeeper Arcadio Buendia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yu Jian Tian. In the 76th minute ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ were awarded a corner. Ovidio Marin went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Primitivo Tancredo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arcadio Buendia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Marcelino Flor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Pietro in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Yu Jian Tian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arcadio Buendia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Yu Jian Tian slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arcadio Buendia. That made the score 0-4 after 83 minutes of play. Marcelino Flor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brandon Bayart in the 86th minute of the match. Arcadio Buendia was a little too slow when Yu Jian Tian got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-5. Feliks Mnich hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Antonín Orlík hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Grosso United's Arcadio Buendia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Grosso United from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Yu Jian Tian managed to get in a good position for a shot. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's supporters rose to their feet, but Yu Jian Tian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arcadio Buendia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
