An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Bosch in the 10th minute of play forced BEIJO CARNAVAL's goalkeeper Godfredo Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Cristian Paulin in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Rocio Rusoto. The supporters of ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► booed when BEIJO CARNAVAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Peso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfredo Abarca came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Franco Bosch. But to his dismay, Franco Bosch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Richard Peso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franco Bosch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godfredo Abarca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After 24 played minutes ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► got a freekick which was hit by Rocio Rusoto. In the 25th minute, Rocio Rusoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 27 minutes, Richard Peso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BEIJO CARNAVAL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Peso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rigoberto Olayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Ermengol Baena made a huge save. BEIJO CARNAVAL's attack was well implemented in the 30th minute, but when Richard Peso was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Godfredo Abarca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Bosch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Rocio Rusoto in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BEIJO CARNAVAL's Gerardo Abilio. Godfredo Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Morley in the 39th minute of play. In the 44th minute, BEIJO CARNAVAL's Rigoberto Olayo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Aggelos Lazopoulos shot from long distance after 52 played minutes, a shot that Ermengol Baena with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Alonzo Lazcano struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Ermengol Baena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BEIJO CARNAVAL.
