With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Castillero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flamengo de San Blás's Luis Castillero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Ondino in the 42nd minute of play. After 46 played minutes Flamengo de San Blás got a freekick which was hit by Totín Garcia De Paredes. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timoteo Machado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Flamengo de San Blás's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Ondino came free, but Luis Castillero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flamengo de San Blás's Alexsandro Marquez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Antonio Delfino, made in the 54th minute of the game. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A Huracan's goalkeeper Delmiro Dominic, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luis Castillero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Ondino in the 58th minute of the match. Totín Garcia De Paredes hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Dave Basso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Castillero was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 72 minutes into the match, C.A Huracan's goalkeeper Delmiro Dominic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wiliam Lozano. Luis Castillero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Ondino in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Wiliam Lozano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamengo de San Blás's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiliam Lozano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flamengo de San Blás's Luchito Briceño was substituted for Wiliam Lozano. In the 80th minute Fausto Elixio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Castillero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Timoteo Machado made a precise shot to the right of Luis Castillero. Flamengo de San Blás's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 85th minute, Totín Garcia De Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Flamengo de San Blás's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Machado came free, but Luis Castillero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.A Huracan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
