But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Davus couldn't finish the play. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Davus in the 13th minute of the match. KFC Paal-Tervant's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Korneliusz Miodek ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Estudiantes de América's corner Korneliusz Miodek fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Freddy Tilens quite easily take care of the ball. In the 35th minute Axel Davus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KFC Paal-Tervant's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 林振岚 in the 36th minute. 林振岚 made a great header on KFC Paal-Tervant's corner, it was just that Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 40th match minute, KFC Paal-Tervant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 李卫竞 to maneuver through the defense. KFC Paal-Tervant's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kraig Fred was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Estudiantes de América's Joel Cordarrel was substituted for Fran Tudor. Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti was substituted for Kraig Fred. Marcos Ranolfo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Davus's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 77 minutes into the match, KFC Paal-Tervant's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Blăniță came free, but Freddy Tilens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Freddy Tilens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. With a little luck, Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo got control of the ball when Axel Davus tried to sneak it across the goal line. 林振岚 hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute Concetto Trasatti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Tilens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Davus got free with Marcos Ranolfo in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shaun McLae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Tilens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Cordarrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The audience was convinced that Joel Cordarrel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Freddy Tilens was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
