Luis Galarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Carrascal in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Carrascal in the 28th minute of play forced Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Galarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Lluterio came free, but Patricio Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dale Dolar got free with Luis Galarza in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barcellos Mineiro FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Barcellos Mineiro FC were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Kalatakaya F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amílton Loyola took the corner.

Barcellos Mineiro FC played a much better game than Kalatakaya F.C. and deserved their victory. The Kalatakaya F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
