Alessandro Del Piero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Kristen Gulskov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kristen Gulskov made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Alessandro Del Piero sent off a good shot on target. Kristen Gulskov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Del Piero in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Batistuta in the 15th minute of play forced Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Kristen Gulskov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Kristen Gulskov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessandro Del Piero. In the 20th minute, James Batistuta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristen Gulskov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as James Batistuta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kristen Gulskov. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Joachim Mæhle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monks in Robes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joachim Mæhle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when James Batistuta got free with Kristen Gulskov in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rikki Askhim hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Alessandro Del Piero had several of the Monks in Robes's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Kristen Gulskov as he didn't even see the shot coming. Kristen Gulskov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. James Batistuta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Kristen Gulskov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Batistuta in the 48th minute of play forced Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Kristen Gulskov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Ree to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's goal looked a bit too open when James Batistuta came free, but Kristen Gulskov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albinus Alking. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Batistuta in the 63rd minute of play forced Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Kristen Gulskov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Monks in Robes booed when A4p FC Gad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dumitru Purcărete didn't get a good kick on the ball. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Flavius Cândroveanu replaced Alessandro Del Piero. After a rather tough play, A4p FC Gad's Dumitru Purcărete got a free kick in the 67th minute. Glenn Fyfe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albinus Alking in the 72nd minute of the match. Kristen Gulskov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gică Busuioc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Ree came free, but Glenn Fyfe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Monks in Robes were awarded a corner. Fidel Havier went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Fidel Havier almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe did a great save. In the 79th minute, Monks in Robes's Joachim Mæhle seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Joachim Mæhle the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Monks in Robes protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Joachim Mæhle had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Monks in Robes! With a little luck, A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe got control of the ball when Albinus Alking tried to sneak it across the goal line. Flavius Cândroveanu took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristen Gulskov. Kristen Gulskov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Kristen Gulskov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavius Cândroveanu in the 95th minute of the match.
