The audience thought a goal was coming when Fermin Kauldi got free with Yuri da Fonseca in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guillermo Ignazio kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Yuri da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osasun Palomino in the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, PIMENTEL F.C.'s goalkeeper Yuri da Fonseca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osasun Palomino. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PIMENTEL F.C.! Yuri da Fonseca had in the 13thth minute some difficulties stopping 袁潮永's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 15th minute 何希梁 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cãlin Damaschin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apolo Heriberto charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apolo Heriberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Apolo Heriberto hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Yuri da Fonseca successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Sergios Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the PIMENTEL F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergios Ramos couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute 何希梁 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cãlin Damaschin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergios Ramos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cãlin Damaschin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Fermin Kauldi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Kauldi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Granville's Jesús Salvador was substituted for Fermin Kauldi. The wind increased when Sergios Ramos made the kick off in the second half. Yuri da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesús Salvador in the 63rd minute of the match. Yuri da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osasun Palomino in the 66th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Osasun Palomino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Granville's Cãlin Damaschin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Granville from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the match, Granville's goal looked a bit too open when 何希梁 came free, but Cãlin Damaschin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Sergios Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cãlin Damaschin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cãlin Damaschin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olívio Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PIMENTEL F.C.'s Yuri da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osasun Palomino in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, PIMENTEL F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olívio Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, PIMENTEL F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bjørn Ragnarsson came free, but Yuri da Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergios Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Cãlin Damaschin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. PIMENTEL F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
