After 3 played minutes Legia Warszawa 【L】 got a freekick which was hit by Szymon Grunwalski. In the 4th minute of the match, Janusz Haskiewicz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lech Latkiewicz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 6th minute Sielce Warszawa were awarded a corner. Boleslaw Domarecki went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Sielce Warszawa's Boleslaw Domarecki to fire away a dangerous shot which Lech Latkiewicz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hao Guang Sheng hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute Szymon Grunwalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Abbiati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tạ Mara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Abbiati having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Yavuzalp Mesut had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lech Latkiewicz. Legia Warszawa 【L】's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yavuzalp Mesut was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Marek Sagan notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sielce Warszawa's Christian Abbiati. Christian Abbiati was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Legia Warszawa 【L】 defense, Yavuzalp Mesut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lech Latkiewicz. The Legia Warszawa 【L】 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lech Latkiewicz should have stopped the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Sielce Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Szymon Grunwalski came free, but Christian Abbiati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lech Latkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yavuzalp Mesut in the 32nd minute of play. Sielce Warszawa's Yavuzalp Mesut got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yavuzalp Mesut in the 35th minute of play forced Legia Warszawa 【L】's goalkeeper Lech Latkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sielce Warszawa were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Legia Warszawa 【L】's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Boleslaw Domarecki took the corner. Janusz Haskiewicz made a great header on Sielce Warszawa's corner, it was just that Legia Warszawa 【L】's Lech Latkiewicz managed to reach the ball for a save. 40 minutes into the game, Yavuzalp Mesut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Janusz Haskiewicz to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa 【L】's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Haskiewicz came free, but Lech Latkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lech Latkiewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Janusz Haskiewicz's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Janusz Haskiewicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lech Latkiewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Janusz Haskiewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Janusz Haskiewicz put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lech Latkiewicz. 66 minutes into the match, Sielce Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Lech Porajewski came free, but Christian Abbiati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sielce Warszawa made a substitution. Dávid Trezeguet replaced Yavuzalp Mesut. After 69 minutes Sielce Warszawa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Szymon Grunwalski who took care of the corner kick. Lech Latkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dávid Trezeguet in the 72nd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Dávid Trezeguet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Lech Latkiewicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Legia Warszawa 【L】's Ludomil Hajder was substituted for Lech Porajewski. A nice corner shot did that Alan Hermes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lech Latkiewicz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dávid Trezeguet in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lech Latkiewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lech Latkiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dávid Trezeguet, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa 【L】's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Haskiewicz came free, but Lech Latkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marek Sagan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Christian Abbiati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Janusz Haskiewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sielce Warszawa and the Legia Warszawa 【L】 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sielce Warszawa getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Janusz Haskiewicz hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sielce Warszawa fans cheered their team off the field, for while Legia Warszawa 【L】 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
