Atilano Esiquio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustavo Birila showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. La Guardia Imperial's Atilano Esiquio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Birila in the 10th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Papillon AC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Teves came free, but Jean Van Damme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When La Guardia Imperial's Carlos Teves, in the 17th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for La Guardia Imperial. Jean Van Damme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Teves in the 19th minute of play. Zosimo Vadillo scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Atilano Esiquio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, La Guardia Imperial's 龚震泉 got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Zosimo Vadillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Papillon AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When Carlos Teves came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the La Guardia Imperial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Teves couldn't finish the play. Sergio Jerano scored 4-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Atilano Esiquio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jean Van Damme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 龚震泉, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Atilano Esiquio made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Zosimo Vadillo sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Carlos Teves managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Guardia Imperial's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Teves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean Van Damme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jean Van Damme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 龚震泉 in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Birila to make the kick off. Atilano Esiquio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zosimo Vadillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zosimo Vadillo in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atilano Esiquio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Teves came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jean Van Damme could save by the left post. If Carlos Teves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jean Van Damme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Teves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atilano Esiquio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Jerano in the 60th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, La Guardia Imperial's goal looked a bit too open when Zosimo Vadillo came free, but Atilano Esiquio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Carlos Teves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 龚震泉 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Jean Van Damme when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Papillon AC's Bai Bang Xiong was substituted for Astor Chinto. Papillon AC's Leonides Modestio was substituted for Sergio Jerano. In the 82nd minute of the match La Guardia Imperial got a corner. Papillon AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcial Abaunza ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Marcial Abaunza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jean Van Damme quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jean Van Damme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Teves in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Papillon AC's goalkeeper Jean Van Damme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Sayveon. Atilano Esiquio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Birila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcial Abaunza hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. La Guardia Imperial's Atilano Esiquio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zosimo Vadillo in the 88th minute of play. Leonides Modestio made a great header on Papillon AC's corner, it was just that La Guardia Imperial's Atilano Esiquio managed to reach the ball for a save. 93 minutes into the match, Papillon AC's goalkeeper Jean Van Damme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Teves. The supporters of Papillon AC booed when La Guardia Imperial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Romano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atilano Esiquio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Modestio, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Guardia Imperial players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Papillon AC.
