Carlos Teves took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Cristofor. Joel Cristofor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Atilano Esiquio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Gonzáles in the 27th minute of the match. Francisco Sayveon struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Joel Cristofor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Guardia Imperial. Joel Cristofor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Teves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, La Guardia Imperial's Carlos Teves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Cristofor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Teves made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goalkeeper Joel Cristofor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Teves. Bernardo Laurin made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and 龚震泉 immediately put the ball in play. Atilano Esiquio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Severino in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of La Guardia Imperial booed when NECKER49 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Argina didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Marcial Abaunza in the 95th minute really tested Joel Cristofor's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when 龚震泉 got free with Joel Cristofor in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 98 minutes into the match, 龚震泉 notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of NECKER49's Joel Cristofor. Joel Cristofor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
