An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Teves in the 16th minute of play forced Maní FC's goalkeeper Pascual Pitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20thth minute of the game Carlos Teves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maní FC's Pascual Pitin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Atilano Esiquio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Hauche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Gabriel Hauche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascual Pitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Teves in the 30th minute of the match. Gabriel Hauche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Laurin during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th match minute, La Guardia Imperial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Laurin to maneuver through the defense. Atilano Esiquio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Hauche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Teves to make the kick off. Maní FC's Pascual Pitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Teves in the 54th minute of play. When Maní FC's Gabriel Hauche in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, La Guardia Imperial's Bernardo Laurin got a free kick in the 60th minute. 64 minutes into the match, La Guardia Imperial's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Hauche came free, but Atilano Esiquio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascual Pitin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Guardia Imperial. When Carlos Teves came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the La Guardia Imperial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Teves couldn't finish the play. The La Guardia Imperial support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
