If Lucas-James Joshua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oscar Ermano scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enrique Quer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ayatolá Inmortals's Enrique Quer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Otoniel in the 9th minute of play. Romeo Santa María made in the 11th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Oscar Ermano. Oscar Ermano might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Quer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Ermano ran back to his position shaking his head. Enrique Quer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Ermano in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ayatolá Inmortals's zone, Oscar Ermano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Quer came out of the goal and Oscar Ermano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrique Quer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar Ermano went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Ayatolá Inmortals defense, Oscar Ermano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Quer. The Ayatolá Inmortals fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Quer should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Oscar Ermano notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Ayatolá Inmortals's Enrique Quer. Enrique Quer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 0 descensos's Oscar Ermano got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enrique Quer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Ermano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Oscar Ermano made a precise shot to the right of Enrique Quer. Ayatolá Inmortals's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Enrique Quer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas-James Joshua in the 39th minute of the match. The 0 descensos fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when 0 descensos's Lucas-James Joshua looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Lucas-James Joshua came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the 0 descensos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas-James Joshua couldn't finish the play. Enrique Quer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Otoniel in the 46th minute of the match. Enrique Quer came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by 0 descensos's Lucas-James Joshua. But to his dismay, Lucas-James Joshua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xofre Bayo made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Eusebio Cordeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Enrique Quer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 0 descensos's Oscar Ermano got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oscar Ermano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enrique Quer came out and tried to block the shot, but Oscar Ermano slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Lucas-James Joshua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Quer. Ayatolá Inmortals's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas-James Joshua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. In the 65th minute, Oscar Ermano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Quer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. Herminio Otoniel took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Quer. Enrique Quer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Lucas-James Joshua didn't quite understand what happened when in the 74 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Enrique Quer was a little too slow when Oscar Ermano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-13. Oscar Ermano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 78th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Enrique Quer was a little too slow when Lucas-James Joshua got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-14. Oscar Ermano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ayatolá Inmortals's goalkeeper Enrique Quer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 90 minutes of play, 0 descensos's Oscar Ermano made it 0-16 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Quer was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the game, 0 descensos's Oscar Ermano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enrique Quer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-17. 96 minutes into the game, Oscar Ermano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enrique Quer. Oscar Ermano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-18. When the match was over 0 descensos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ayatolá Inmortals throughout the match.
