An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Rojas in the 13th minute of play forced Baraja Española FC's goalkeeper Eustaquio Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Baraja Española FC's Ovidio Benavides got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 22 minutes of play, Baraja Española FC's Baltasar Artaldo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adolfo Adrio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes into the game, Baltasar Artaldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Adolfo Adrio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36thth minute of the game Bernabe Rojas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baraja Española FC's Eustaquio Javiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernabe Rojas in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eustaquio Javiar saved Baraja Española FC from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, Baraja Española FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernabe Rojas came free, but Eustaquio Javiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustaquio Javiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas-James Joshua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Baraja Española FC's zone, Bernabe Rojas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustaquio Javiar came out of the goal and Bernabe Rojas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baltasar Artaldo was the one to do the kick off. Eustaquio Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Rojas, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Gonzalo Castello got a throw-in 59 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sílvio Pires. Eustaquio Javiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Rojas in the 65th minute of play. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Baraja Española FC! Eustaquio Javiar had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Lucas-James Joshua's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when 0 descensos's Lucas-James Joshua after 70 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Baraja Española FC's goalkeeper to hold. In the 79th minute Baltasar Artaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Adrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Stewart Bowden in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Baraja Española FC's Gonzalo Castello.
