Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Maní FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Tano came free, but Pascual Pitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Tano in the 8th minute of play forced Maní FC's goalkeeper Pascual Pitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Boulogne F.C.'s corner Mauricio Tano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pascual Pitin quite easily take care of the ball. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boulogne F.C.'s goalkeeper Ask Stamnes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Boulogne F.C.'s Marcelo Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Maní FC defense, Mauricio Tano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascual Pitin. The Maní FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascual Pitin should have stopped the shot. Maní FC's Pascual Pitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Tano in the 21st minute of play. Mauricio Tano took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pascual Pitin. Pascual Pitin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Pascual Pitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Tano in the 30th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mauricio Tano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pascual Pitin was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. When Maní FC's Gabriel Hauche in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Hauche made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauricio Tano in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascual Pitin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ask Stamnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Hauche in the 60th minute of play. Mauricio Tano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Pascual Pitin made a huge save. Maní FC's Pascual Pitin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Maní FC from getting a goal against them. Gabriel Hauche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ask Stamnes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Ask Stamnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Hauche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mario Thomas fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boulogne F.C.'s protests and gave Mario Thomas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Maní FC booed when Boulogne F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Thomas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
