Sacronas Futbol Club's Jorge Iribarren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zosimo Vadillo in the 13th minute of play. In the 20th play minute Denis Stanislao came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jean Van Damme. 2-1. In the 37th minute Zosimo Vadillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Iribarren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sacronas Futbol Club's Esteban Txerran got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 47th minute, Esteban Txerran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Jorge Iribarren made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Zosimo Vadillo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zosimo Vadillo in the 68th minute of play forced Sacronas Futbol Club's goalkeeper Jorge Iribarren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes, Óscar Mas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sacronas Futbol Club and the Papillon AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sacronas Futbol Club getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Óscar Mas hit a great ball. Jorge Iribarren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Birila in the 75th minute. Denis Stanislao hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Birila in the 93rd minute of play forced Sacronas Futbol Club's goalkeeper Jorge Iribarren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 96 minutes Sacronas Futbol Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gustavo Birila who took care of the corner kick. Papillon AC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Sacronas Futbol Club had won, even though Papillon AC had held more of the ball.
