An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Teves in the 17th minute of play forced 0 descensos's goalkeeper Adolfo Adrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Melquiades Galtero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 0 descensos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Guardia Imperial the free kick. The supporters of La Guardia Imperial booed when 0 descensos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Galtero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atilano Esiquio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernabe Rojas in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, 0 descensos's Bernabe Rojas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atilano Esiquio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernabe Rojas made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Marcial Abaunza threw the ball into play from the sideline. 0 descensos's Romeo Santa María quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Bernabe Rojas took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atilano Esiquio. Atilano Esiquio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Atilano Esiquio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Rojas in the 59th minute of the match. Atilano Esiquio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Rojas in the 59th minute of play. Severino Romano lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 59 minutes into the game, one of La Guardia Imperial:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Atilano Esiquio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atilano Esiquio came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by 0 descensos's Bernabe Rojas. But to his dismay, Bernabe Rojas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Clodoveo Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Adrio having to interfere. A collision led to La Guardia Imperial getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Marcial Abaunza hit a great ball. After 82 minutes of play, 0 descensos's Bernabe Rojas made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atilano Esiquio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Atilano Esiquio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernabe Rojas struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Atilano Esiquio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 0 descensos. 94 minutes into the match, Bernabe Rojas notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of La Guardia Imperial's Atilano Esiquio. Atilano Esiquio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 0 descensos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of La Guardia Imperial for a fine match.
