After some careless play in the Kwyjibo defense, Mikolaj Giertych kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sylwester Wawro. The Kwyjibo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sylwester Wawro should have stopped the shot. Sylwester Wawro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daavid Uitto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sylwester Wawro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Giertych in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Kwyjibo's goal looked a bit too open when Mikolaj Giertych came free, but Sylwester Wawro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guilherme de Souza hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Sylwester Wawro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikolaj Giertych, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
