Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Benji Hanson got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Lino Rios had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Richie Postolan. Washinkai Warriors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lino Rios was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Washinkai Warriors's goalkeeper Richie Postolan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Lino Rios came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the AFC FUSION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Rios couldn't finish the play. After 17th play minutes Lino Rios shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Richie Postolan and just under the crossbar into goal. If Lino Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Richie Postolan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Rios in the 33rd minute of the match. Lino Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Richie Postolan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Rios in the 36th minute. Richie Postolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rios in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Reg Shilton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan Hop came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Richie Postolan could save by the left post. 42 minutes into the game, AFC FUSION's Jan Hop nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richie Postolan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Thiago Silva hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Rios to make the kick off. Washinkai Warriors's Richie Postolan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Rios in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Lino Rios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Washinkai Warriors's Benji Hanson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Eztebe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Richie Postolan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Rios's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. AFC FUSION were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Washinkai Warriors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dawid Beckham took the corner. AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Richie Postolan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Richie Postolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Washinkai Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Richie Postolan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 minutes Washinkai Warriors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dawid Beckham who took care of the corner kick. The corner led AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham to fire away a dangerous shot which Richie Postolan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lino Rios blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richie Postolan having to make a save. Lino Rios might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richie Postolan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Rios ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Rios in the 69th minute of play forced Washinkai Warriors's goalkeeper Richie Postolan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Lino Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richie Postolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Washinkai Warriors's Reg Shilton got a free kick in the 70th minute. AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks was substituted for Lino Rios. In the 72nd minute, Reg Shilton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reg Shilton during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute Christoff Stocks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richie Postolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFC FUSION's Wojciech Fiszer quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Reg Shilton, made in the 75th minute of the game. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when Washinkai Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shawn East didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute Dawid Beckham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richie Postolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Washinkai Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reg Shilton to maneuver through the defense. Richie Postolan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoff Stocks in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Christoff Stocks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richie Postolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 minutes of play, AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richie Postolan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Richie Postolan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christoff Stocks's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. AFC FUSION were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Washinkai Warriors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dawid Beckham took the corner. After taking down the ball on AFC FUSION's corner Dawid Beckham fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Richie Postolan quite easily take care of the ball. In the 95th minute, one of Washinkai Warriors:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Washinkai Warriors. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AFC FUSION had played much better football throughout.
