Chong Talon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niculae Ungureanu's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 16th minute, Saltuk Askeroğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niculae Ungureanu in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chong Talon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saltuk Askeroğlu made a kick off.
