The corner led AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham to fire away a dangerous shot which Richie Postolan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Reg Shilton made in the 13th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Joe Kendall immediately put the ball in play. 15 minutes into the match, Washinkai Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Richie Postolan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Rios blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richie Postolan having to make a save. Richie Postolan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lino Rios might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richie Postolan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Rios ran back to his position shaking his head. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Washinkai Warriors's Richie Postolan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Rios in the 30th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lino Rios made a kick off. Richie Postolan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lino Rios showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 52 minute of play. In the 59th minute, Reg Shilton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Lino Rios made a precise shot to the right of Richie Postolan. Washinkai Warriors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After 64 minutes, Lino Rios made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Washinkai Warriors's Richie Postolan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lino Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Richie Postolan made a huge save. AFC FUSION made a substitution. Christoff Stocks replaced Lino Rios. AFC FUSION's Romulo Abilio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marcin Cebula in the 70 minute of the game. In the 71st minute, Christoff Stocks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richie Postolan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Christoff Stocks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richie Postolan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richie Postolan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Richie Postolan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christoff Stocks went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Richie Postolan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoff Stocks in the 86th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Christoff Stocks had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Richie Postolan. Washinkai Warriors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christoff Stocks was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. When the final whistle sounded AFC FUSION left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Washinkai Warriors.
