In the 38th minute Raimundo Espírito Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Ostrowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Yenal Tanır notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Olympique Gdynia's Tanek Ostrowski. Tanek Ostrowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristinel Mihalcea kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The corner led Juventus PTM's Raimundo Espírito Santo to fire away a dangerous shot which Tanek Ostrowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raimundo Espírito Santo to make the kick off. Raimundo Espírito Santo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tanek Ostrowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Raimundo Espírito Santo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 54th minute. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Juventus PTM's goalkeeper Armando Gazza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Czeslaw Domeracki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Gazza was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 68th minute Olympique Gdynia were awarded a corner. Fabio-Roman Zabaleta went to the cornerflag to take it. Juventus PTM's Patrick Viera was substituted for Alex Acatincăi. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Juventus PTM had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
