Eliseo Mano scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alisson Becker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the game, Munat Tayka's Ruben Da Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alisson Becker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 25 minutes into the match, Real Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Otto came free, but Alisson Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Munat Tayka booed when Real Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerry Dhanabalan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alisson Becker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mano in the 30th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Eliseo Mano notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Real Juniors's Alisson Becker. Alisson Becker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Efe Suheyl to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ahmet Efe Suheyl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Efe Suheyl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aron Oks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th match minute, Munat Tayka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Bokelund to maneuver through the defense. After 58 played minutes Roland Redondo shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Munat Tayka's Aron Oks to catch but Roland Redondo was lucky. It became 1-4 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Eliseo Mano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alisson Becker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Real Juniors made a substitution. Jamaal Musiala replaced Yonko Tarchev. After a rather tough play, Real Juniors's Ahmet Efe Suheyl got a free kick in the 75th minute. Munat Tayka's Eliseo Mano got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Munat Tayka's David Herstad was substituted for Ruben Da Silva. Munat Tayka's Aron Oks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 79th minute of play. Real Juniors's Miguel Ángel Benito was substituted for Ahmet Efe Suheyl. In the 86th minute, Miguel Ángel Benito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Real Juniors's Alisson Becker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Real Juniors from getting a goal against them. David Herstad succeeded in the game's 91st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-6. David Herstad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Alisson Becker made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Munat Tayka eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
