Roldan Abenda kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseo Mano got free with Nery Pumpido in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ulf Bokelund hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Zico Zellier made a precise shot to the right of Aron Oks. Munat Tayka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nery Pumpido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseo Mano in the 15th minute. Eliseo Mano in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nery Pumpido, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 18 minutes of play, GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aron Oks was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21stth minute of the game Eliseo Mano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of GuateFortín booed when Munat Tayka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Bokelund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute Zico Zellier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Oks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Munat Tayka's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Angel Alvarenga was slow to take the kick. During this time GuateFortín's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Angel Alvarenga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aron Oks quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aron Oks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thierry Henry in the 38th minute of the match. Aron Oks didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thierry Henry to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thierry Henry to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute of the match Pacho Abechuco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nery Pumpido skillfully saved the ball. Zico Zellier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Aron Oks made a huge save. Roldan Abenda kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. GuateFortín's Mario Gomez was substituted for Thierry Henry. GuateFortín's William Villanueva was substituted for Sven-Edvin Jansson. Munat Tayka made a substitution. Pablo Mora was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. GuateFortín's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 91 minutes into the match, David Herstad notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido. Nery Pumpido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of GuateFortín booed when Munat Tayka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umea Abaurre didn't get a good kick on the ball. GuateFortín's Angel Alvarenga shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aron Oks but with some difficulty. Aron Oks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Mario Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Oks having to interfere. In the 99th minute Mario Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Oks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The GuateFortín players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
