Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zico Zellier started the match with the kick off. Mihai Gherase blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nery Pumpido having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Edvin Jansson got free with Oscar Frascuelo in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson in 12 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Oscar Frascuelo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Mihai Gherase recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Octavia's Oscar Frascuelo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Octavia from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Octavia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Máximo Perrone was slow to take the kick. During this time GuateFortín's players had a chance to rest. GuateFortín's Roberto Trotta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Oscar Frascuelo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 22 played minutes Octavia got a freekick which was hit by Otoniel Abastas. In the 24th minute Delmar Cordairo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Frascuelo made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Stanyo Búnkov sent off a good shot on target. Oscar Frascuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zico Zellier in the 29th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oscar Frascuelo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iordanis Anastasiadis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Octavia's goalkeeper Oscar Frascuelo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Edvin Jansson. A collision led to Octavia getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Otoniel Abastas hit a great ball. Oscar Frascuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zico Zellier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zico Zellier in the 47th minute of play forced Octavia's goalkeeper Oscar Frascuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mihai Gherase to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Zico Zellier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Frascuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thierry Henry hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Oscar Frascuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zico Zellier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Frascuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Alvarenga in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Sven-Edvin Jansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Frascuelo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. GuateFortín made a substitution. Elias Pagomari replaced Thierry Henry. GuateFortín's Eliseo Umanzor was substituted for Máximo Perrone. The supporters of Octavia booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Trotta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolado Abendano kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. With a little luck, GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido got control of the ball when Iordanis Anastasiadis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Sven-Edvin Jansson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Octavia's Oscar Frascuelo. Oscar Frascuelo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th match minute, Octavia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Cristaldo to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Sven-Edvin Jansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oscar Frascuelo. Octavia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Edvin Jansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 93 minutes, Nesor Abadie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Octavia and the GuateFortín players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of GuateFortín booed when Octavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Abeita didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Octavia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GuateFortín.
