Hong Qing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toto Pinilla in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute Anton Donose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadhyan Rudrappa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Lea Papá's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Villalaz came free, but Hong Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Hong Qing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Lea Papá from getting a goal against them. ORION F.C.'s Dadhyan Rudrappa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Donose in the 12th minute of play. Hong Qing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustin Torrijos in the 15th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toto Pinilla got free with Hong Qing in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dadhyan Rudrappa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvar Ponce in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Luis Quirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toto Pinilla in the 29th minute of play forced Club Atlético Lea Papá's goalkeeper Hong Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dadhyan Rudrappa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Donose in the 33rd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Anton Donose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadhyan Rudrappa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michal Jehlička took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dadhyan Rudrappa. Dadhyan Rudrappa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ramiro Cuevas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dadhyan Rudrappa having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

ORION F.C.'s Mikail Savgat was substituted for Toto Pinilla. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anton Donose was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Alvar Ponce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dadhyan Rudrappa was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 53rd minute Mikail Savgat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hong Qing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
