Spectators: 48 (Terracing: 37, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Onega got the match started through his kick off. Sven-Edvin Jansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Nicanor Ascencio made a huge save. Nicanor Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zico Zellier in the 6th minute of play. Nicanor Ascencio was a little too slow when Sven-Edvin Jansson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. Sven-Edvin Jansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Nicanor Ascencio made a huge save. A collision led to GuateFortín getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Thierry Henry hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Aristides Lluc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nery Pumpido. GuateFortín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aristides Lluc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 21 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicanor Ascencio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicanor Ascencio saved El Pulpo Paceño from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Sven-Edvin Jansson took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Nicanor Ascencio to make any attempt to save it. GuateFortín's attentive Angel Alvarenga managed to snatch the ball when Joélson Guerra made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. Sven-Edvin Jansson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicanor Ascencio came out and tried to block the shot, but Sven-Edvin Jansson slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 31st minute. 36 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicanor Ascencio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aristides Lluc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Nery Pumpido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

El Pulpo Paceño's Nicanor Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 51st minute of play. If Aristides Lluc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Lluc, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Nicanor Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Edvin Jansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Pulpo Paceño's goalkeeper Nicanor Ascencio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sven-Edvin Jansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicanor Ascencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Edvin Jansson ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicanor Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. GuateFortín's Mario Gomez was substituted for Thierry Henry. GuateFortín made a substitution. Elias Pagomari replaced Stanyo Búnkov. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Angel Alvarenga got a free kick in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Sven-Edvin Jansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. GuateFortín's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Edvin Jansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicanor Ascencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 76 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Onega. After a rather tough play, El Pulpo Paceño's Aristides Lluc got a free kick in the 77th minute. Aristides Lluc hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Zico Zellier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Ascencio having to interfere. Nicanor Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. After 89 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Angel Alvarenga. In the 91st match minute, El Pulpo Paceño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joélson Guerra to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Sven-Edvin Jansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
