The audience was convinced that Pedro Villalaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Galarza was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 12th minute Mikail Savgat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Galarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dé Santos came free, but Luis Galarza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Dadhyan Rudrappa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Luis Galarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Santos in the 38th minute of play. Kalatakaya F.C.'s Luis Galarza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Villalaz in the 40th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Ahmet Fikret Şenel threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kalatakaya F.C.'s Helmut Gutiérrez quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

53 minutes into the game, Benito Lluterio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Dadhyan Rudrappa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, ORION F.C.'s Ahmet Fikret Şenel got a free kick in the 57th minute. Aaron Gauargi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedro Villalaz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luis Galarza. That made the score 1-1 in the 61 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateo Kovačić during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Mateo Kovačić got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Dadhyan Rudrappa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Lluterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ORION F.C.'s Toto Pinilla was substituted for Pedro Villalaz. The supporters of Kalatakaya F.C. booed when ORION F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute of the match Alejandro Chumacero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dadhyan Rudrappa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luis Galarza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Agurto in the 87th minute of the match. Luis Galarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Agurto, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ORION F.C.'s zone, Aaron Gauargi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dadhyan Rudrappa came out of the goal and Aaron Gauargi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, ORION F.C.'s Luis Galarza threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Franklin Agurto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Benito Lluterio sped through ORION F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dadhyan Rudrappa. Kalatakaya F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
