In the 31stth minute of the game Tom-Lukas Queraria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Manos Manteca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luis Castillero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Deisler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goalkeeper Manos Manteca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Chavez. Gabriel Chavezs short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Manos Manteca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luis Castillero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Deisler in the 44th minute of the match. Flamengo de San Blás's Luis Castillero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Lonzo in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tom-Lukas Queraria was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Discípulos de Ayn Rand booed when Flamengo de San Blás was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Chavez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute Octavio Geleberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Castillero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Manos Manteca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Cedeño in the 84th minute of play.
