An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Escalona in the 18th minute of play forced Octavia's goalkeeper Oscar Frascuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgardo Dely didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mihai Gherase went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iordanis Anastasiadis in the 23rd minute of play forced Calcio Cuchitril's goalkeeper Edgardo Dely to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Calcio Cuchitril getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Wilfredo Gutierrez hit a great ball. If Nesor Abadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Iordanis Anastasiadis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgardo Dely was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Ulpiano Villarreal walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After a rather tough play, Calcio Cuchitril's Armando Berrueta got a free kick in the 38th minute. Oscar Frascuelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matias Escalona in the 42nd minute.

The wind increased when Fausto Napier made the kick off in the second half. After 58th play minutes Mihai Gherase shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Edgardo Dely and just under the crossbar into goal. Oscar Frascuelo came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Calcio Cuchitril's Matias Escalona. But to his dismay, Matias Escalona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Mihai Gherase took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Edgardo Dely to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Calcio Cuchitril's zone, Delmar Cordairo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Dely came out of the goal and Delmar Cordairo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Octavia booed when Calcio Cuchitril was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Calderón didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Calcio Cuchitril's Heraclides Gutierrez got a free kick in the 75th minute. A long shot from Nesor Abadie in the 75th minute of play was well struck, but Edgardo Dely made a really good save at the right post. 82 minutes into the match, Calcio Cuchitril's goal looked a bit too open when Mihai Gherase came free, but Edgardo Dely reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 played minutes Mihai Gherase rounded Calcio Cuchitril's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-6. Edgardo Dely made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mihai Gherase in the 87th minute. Octavia were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Calcio Cuchitril's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nesor Abadie took the corner. The corner led Octavia's Delmar Cordairo to a score. 1-7 in the 88th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihai Gherase got free with Edgardo Dely in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Castro made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Octavia's Otoniel Abastas. Octavia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
