The Flamengo de San Blás fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Flamengo de San Blás's Tom-Lukas Queraria looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 21st match minute, Club Deportivo Águila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Alas to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Flamengo de San Blás's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Florinio came free, but Luis Castillero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Herminio Florinio fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo Águila's protests and gave Herminio Florinio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Flamengo de San Blás booed when Club Deportivo Águila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Florinio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Herminio Florinio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Castillero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tom-Lukas Queraria struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Gustavo Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Club Deportivo Águila's Gustavo Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Cedeño in the 96th minute of play. Flamengo de San Blás's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
