The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But to his dismay, Argoitz Abeijon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goalkeeper Manos Manteca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Manos Manteca got control of the ball when Juan Funes tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boğaçhan Akyel in the 20th minute of play forced Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goalkeeper Manos Manteca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Carlos Enrique put in a rough tackle. 21 minutes into the game, one of Discípulos de Ayn Rand:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 23rd minute of the game, River CBBA got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boğaçhan Akyel got free with Manos Manteca in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goalkeeper Manos Manteca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boğaçhan Akyel. At last the ball reached Juan Funes at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Discípulos de Ayn Rand. 3-0. 4-0 became the score in the 45th minute when Argoitz Abeijon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Argoitz Abeijon made the kick off in the second half. River CBBA's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Lonzo in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argoitz Abeijon in the 59th minute of play forced Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goalkeeper Manos Manteca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manos Manteca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argoitz Abeijon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manos Manteca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argoitz Abeijon, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, River CBBA's Grzegorz Rostow got a free kick in the 72nd minute. River CBBA made a substitution. Modesto Ado replaced Deng Xing Sang. River CBBA's Ponciano Abarca was substituted for Juan Funes. River CBBA's Varis Birgelis was substituted for Arano Abendano. A collision led to River CBBA getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. In the 80th minute Ambrosio Lonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Lonzo in the 82nd minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Argoitz Abeijon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River CBBA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goalkeeper Manos Manteca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ponciano Abarca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manos Manteca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play.
