Manos Manteca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanyo Búnkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Manos Manteca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanyo Búnkov in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Nicodemo Abeita got a free kick in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goalkeeper Manos Manteca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Edvin Jansson. Carlos Enrique kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Discípulos de Ayn Rand's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Máximo Perrone scored to the left of an out of position Manos Manteca, making the score, 1-0. After 26 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Thierry Henry. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stanyo Búnkov got free with Manos Manteca in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goal looked a bit too open when Zico Zellier came free, but Manos Manteca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Sampaio came free, but Nery Pumpido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Geleberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Discípulos de Ayn Rand were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after GuateFortín's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Muc Abeita took the corner. Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Muc Abeita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nery Pumpido in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Sven-Edvin Jansson made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Muc Abeita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manos Manteca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Alvarenga in the 65th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Zico Zellier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manos Manteca was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. GuateFortín's Eliseo Umanzor was substituted for Máximo Perrone. GuateFortín's Elias Pagomari was substituted for Thierry Henry. Carlos Enrique kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Manos Manteca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanyo Búnkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manos Manteca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 77th minute of play. Zico Zellier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Manos Manteca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manos Manteca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanyo Búnkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muc Abeita in the 83rd minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Heriberto Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Discípulos de Ayn Rand made a substitution. Denis Abello replaced Ambrosio Lonzo. The supporters of Discípulos de Ayn Rand booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heriberto Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanyo Búnkov scored 3-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manos Manteca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 94 minutes of play, GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manos Manteca was left in no man's land by his defense there! GuateFortín's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
