An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricky Koppens in the 26th minute of play forced Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goalkeeper Manos Manteca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goal looked a bit too open when Dário Diniz came free, but Manos Manteca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manos Manteca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Florinio, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herminio Florinio in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manos Manteca saved Discípulos de Ayn Rand from getting behind. Manos Manteca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Club Deportivo Águila booed when Discípulos de Ayn Rand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arlindo Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muc Abeita in the 54th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Club Deportivo Águila's Ricky Koppens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manos Manteca. Manos Manteca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Manos Manteca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Herminio Florinio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 63 minute of play. In the 67th minute Ricky Koppens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manos Manteca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manos Manteca was a little too slow when Dário Diniz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-5. Club Deportivo Águila's Angel Velis was substituted for Ricky Koppens. Manos Manteca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Velis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Discípulos de Ayn Rand supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club Deportivo Águila's performance. The match ended with a win for Club Deportivo Águila.
